aufgrund der langen anhaltenden Trockenheit hat der Deutsche Wetterdienst die zweithöchste Gefahrenstufe für Waldbrände ausgerufen. Das Risiko eines (Wald-)brandes ist sehr hoch.
Aus diesem Grund ist auch das Forstamt Traben-Trarbach gezwungen, alle Grill- und Feuerstellen auf Basis des § 24 Landeswaldgesetz (Waldbrandschutz) zu sperren. Demnach darf auch die Grillhütte am Römerhang nicht mehr zum Grillen genutzt werden.
Das Feuermachen außerhalb zugelassener Grill- und Feuerstellen ist ohnehin untersagt.
Im Wald und in Waldnähe ist es strengstens untersagt, zu rauchen. Bitte werfen Sie auch keinen Abfall – vor allem kein Glas – einfach weg.

due to the long-lasting drought, the German Weather Service has declared the second highest danger level for forest fires. The risk of a (forest) fire is very high.
For this reason, the Traben-Trarbach Forestry Office has also been forced to close all barbecue and fire sites on the basis of § 24 of the State Forest Act (forest fire protection). Accordingly, the barbecue hut on the Römerhang may no longer be used for barbecuing.
Lighting fires outside of approved barbecue and fire sites is prohibited anyway.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in or near the forest. Please also do not simply throw away any litter – especially glass.
